Tertulia 01
bringing together a vibrant community of Latino Designers in NYC to explore the intersection of culture, heritage, and design.
Our inaugural Tertulia last October was a vibrant testament to the power of community, drawing over 75 passionate individuals from across the design spectrum in the New York metro area. It was an evening of insightful presentations by 5 powerhouse Latinas, with meaningful discussions, and a lively cultural exchange, accentuated by the flavors of Pisco, Arepas, Empanadas, and the rhythms of Latin music.
Join us as we unite a dynamic community of Latino Designers in NYC, delving into the rich tapestry of culture, heritage, and design. Our event features 4-5 esteemed speakers, including Adriana Chavez from ORU, Isabel Castilla from Field Operations/PDC Commissioner, and Florencia Kratsman from FXCollaborative, with more to be announced soon. Each speaker will tackle a prompt question, offering unique insights in their 8-minute spotlight. Expect an informal setup, encouraging lively group conversations and interactive discussions. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore the diverse perspectives shaping the design landscape!
The prompt for this event was to present their unique experiences as Latina designers and discuss how their cultural background influences their design work.
